POEMS

Molding Myself

Here I sit holding tight

will I ever see the light

up so high I tend to cry

late at night, its no surprise

Can’t give to others

if I don’t give myself some

my mind don’t stop im like a clock

my time is spent wandering inside

its torture im drained

let’s try another way

A curse and a blessing

so aware it makes you scared

others stare but you don’t care

it’s hard to bear all this weight

humanity hates to feel

the taste of  reality

especially if there poor

Them, dreamers

How can you know what they feel?

They can barely feel

but still, they run

away from the monsters back home

to the land of the unknown

Her feet are torn

her lips scream thirst

eyes sunken

she looks destroyed

how brave she is

to leave behind her life

in search for a better one

Those that feel alone

those thoughts aren’t yours alone

I feel them too

you shape it and bend it

although the world feels cold

there’s still some hope

don’t go too far down the rabbit’s hole
